Chronicles #11 (September 3, 2021): In Japan, some advertising trucks are a veritable walking performance: bright lights, giant screens, and a soundtrack that transforms the street into a mini-festival. It's hard to ignore them... and even harder not to wonder who decided that "more LEDs = more impact." The result? An advertisement that rolls, shines, and makes its mark—impossible to miss
Chronicles #12 (September 7, 2021): Ah, Akihabara—the neighborhood where anything is possible. Ronald may have thought he'd found love, but it seems his girlfriend preferred an aquatic destiny. A blonde mermaid, really? This fast-food romance has definitely taken an unexpected turn. Tokyo never ceases to offer mysteries to solve.

Chronicles #13 (September 7, 2021): Today we went to the biggest store we've ever seen! Imagine eight Walmarts stacked on top of each other—and even then, that might not be enough. Eight floors filled with everything imaginable, and frankly, four years wouldn't be long enough to explore it all. And of course, the ninth floor, which isn't extra aisles… but an entire floor of restaurants! Not fast food, no—23 sit-down restaurants, just enough to recover from a marathon shopping expedition. Clearly, this store is an adventure in itself—you'd almost need a tour guide to see it all.
Chronicles #14 (September 16, 2021): Sometimes in Japan you wonder why? I'd love your opinion on what it is below.

Chronicles #15 (October 3, 2021): Losing your wallet in Japan... and getting it back before you even realized it. Yesterday at 2 p.m., the embassy called me: the police had found my wallet in the street. Problem—I didn't even know it was lost! On second thought, it probably slipped out of my pocket around 12:30 p.m., during a bike ride. Result? Found in record time, $300 still safely in place. A big thank you to the legendary efficiency and honesty of the Japanese! Fun fact: Japan is regularly ranked as the most honest country in the world. And frankly, after that, it's hard to doubt it.
Chronicles #16 (October 24, 2021): Sometimes it's better to take a picture of the hotel's street name than to try to memorize it!

Chronicles #15 partie 2 (October 27, 2021) - Lost my credit card in the most popular park on the planet (Universal Studio Osaka). After losing my wallet in Tokyo, I've now managed to lose my credit card in Osaka at Universal Studio Osaka. Being an expert in lost items, I wasn't even worried. I headed to the customer center at the end of the day, where, after a short wait and a very helpful translation from Audrey, my card was handed to me on a beautiful red cushion... to the applause of the staff. Bonus: the kids got stickers, and the manager greeted me with exceptional dedication, following me with his eyes for about 700 meters. In short, another positive experience and further proof of Japanese honesty! P.S. No suspicious transactions, even without a PIN or signature. Respect!

Chronicles #17 (October 29, 2021): McDonald's in Japan, always full of surprises! Here, the bun can be replaced with fresh rice cakes—and of course, it's impossible not to try them. Verdict: very good, but definitely more substantial than a classic bun. An experience to repeat... provided you have a stomach ready for the challenge. We'll see tomorrow if my enthusiasm was well placed!

Chronicles #18 (November 13, 2021): In Japan, trying on clothes comes with an unexpected protocol: the famous "face covering bag." Before putting on a top, we're given a thin protective cover to slip over our heads, just to avoid any traces of makeup on the fabric. Practical, ingenious... and a little confusing the first time! Proof that the Japanese attention to detail never stops—even in the fitting room.

Chronicles #19 (November 19, 2021): Huh Series? Indeed, anchanwanwannekonyannyan is a name that defies all logic… and apparently, their concept too. A music group that sings with animal heads? It’s somewhere between surreal karaoke and an artistic experiment whose meaning still escapes reason. Aiden has the right to ask questions. So do we. Huh?! Tokyo never ceases to surprise us!

Chronicles #20 (November 28, 2021): Huh Series? Nice build?!? Hard to say, but if the foreman got a little too late, let's just say the expression "send to the board" takes on a whole new meaning. We hope it was planned that way, otherwise someone might be looking for the instructions for a soft landing!
